    Dear Enfold Team,

I have encountered a problem when the language of the website cannot be changed on the home page on any mobile device.

If a mobile version of the website triggered by resizing the browser window width the language change works. If I view the website from an iPad or an Android phone the language switch does not work.

If the home page set in the Enfold settings to another page then the page that is now set as a home page is not being translated and the original page is now able to switch.

Another thing I have noticed is when you hoven onto the “Home” page link, the link has #top code at the end of it. But when you hover at the language switch the link does not have the #top at the end.

My guess that the inability to switch from one language to another on a set homepage is due to this #top addition in the link.

    Looking forward to youre reply.

    Best,
    Alexander

    Dear Enfold Team,

The home page still has this problem. Please let me know if you could think of what it could be.

    Hi Alexander,

    Thanks for contacting us!

I just checked your website on my iPhone, in both portrait and landscape modes and I am able to switch language.
I do not have an actual iPad but I tried resizing on my browser, I was still able to switch languages.

If you would like to remove #top from home URL, please go to Appearance > Menus and delete it. In the meantime, I will ask my teammates to check your website on Android and iPad :)

    Best regards,
    Yigit

    Hi Yigit,

Sorry for the delayed reply. It does seem to work now, I think the problem was hidden somewhere in the WPML settings. Although I encountered quite a few glitches with it besides this one, I am not sure at which point did it go away because I was trying to fix multiple things at once.

It seem that the #top hashtag appears on certain pages but they are working when language is being changed now.

Sorry I cannot provide you and others with a solution.

Thank you very much again for looking!

    Best,
    Alexander
