Hi there, the mobile menu text completely disappeared following a theme update so we tested for plugin incompatibilities as per other support thread suggestions. It was not plugin-related so we installed the ‘Enable JQuery Migrate Helper’ plugin and the mobile menu is now working fine.
We have received the following depreciation notice;
jQuery Migrate plugin which fixed the issue.
jQuery.fn.attr(\’checked\’) might use property instead of attribute
The question I have is do we just need to wait for the next theme update for this issue to be resolved before we can remove the JQuery Migrate plugin?
I have another website using Enfold which also has this mobile menu issue so am wanting to know the best course of action.
Many thanks!!
Hey Suze,
Thanks for the login details, and sorry for the problem. We can implement a permanent fix for you, until the next release of the theme is available. If you would like us to do that, then please verify that you have backups of your site.
We can add it on your other site as well, if you provide us with login details for that too.
Best regards,
Rikard
Hi Rikard – thank you. That would be great if you can implement a permanent fix.
The credentials for the other site have been supplied in Private Content and both sites have been backed up.
Hi ellamac,
Thanks for giving us admin access.
We have implemented the fix on your site and deactivated Enable jQuery Migrate Helper plugin.
Please review your site.
Best regards,
Nikko
Both sites are working perfectly now. Thank you – much appreciated!
Hi ellamac,

Thanks for using Enfold and have a great day!

Nikko
