I have a site which is running OK. Luckerly I have the same site on a test server. When I updated the test version to 2.6.1 the nice mobile menu disapeared and so did the ability to select ‘Responsive Header Main Menu” in the admin which has also disapeared.
How can I get this back?

Enfold 2.6.2 with WordPress 3.8.1This is the link to the LIVE site: http://www.actionphysiotherapy.co.uk/
Enfold 2.3 with WordPress 3.7.1 Working OKI’m also building a new site using Enfold (clean install) which has the same problem (Enfold 2.6.2 with WordPress 3.8.1) cannot select a mobile menu type in the admin under”‘Responsive Header Main Menu” as this option isn’t there.
Many Thanks

Kriesi removed the drop-down mobile menu. You can only use the slideout menu for mobile devices. Please go to Enfold > Header then reconfigure the header settings. Simply saving the settings should fix it.
Cheers!
IsmaelMarch 25, 2014 at 9:22 am #242587It’s a shame Kriesi removed the drop-down mobile menu as that one is much better.
I tried saving the header settings again but I still dont get a mobile menu appearing. I even tried changing a few settings and saving but the menu just doesn’t appear.
This needs fixing. If anyone upgrades they wont have a mobile menu anymore.

March 25, 2014 at 5:39 pm #242878Hey!
Can you try re-updating the theme via FTP? http://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/updating-your-theme-files/

Can you provide admin login credentials so we can take a look at the dev site from the backend. Set the reply as private so that only we can see.
This isn’t an issue that others have had as you can imagine with 20k instances of the theme out there we would have a huge influx of reports if it was a theme bug.
Cheers!

Thank you for checking the details. I can check the website now.
You have the old header.php on your child theme. Please create a backup of that file then replace it with the new header.php file from the parent theme folder. Did you create a custom menu? There are no existing menus on Appearance > Menus when I checked it. Maybe I’m wrong but I think overriding the header.php file will fix the mobile menu issue but may mess up the custom menu that you created.
Cheers!
IsmaelMarch 29, 2014 at 10:25 am #244736Hi
Thank you for looking. I replaced the header.php file in both my Enfold folder and my Child theme folder and this has brought the mobile menu back, thank you. It did reset the position of my menu but i just changed that in the admin to “Logo left, menu below” and my menu came back to the correct position. I had added additional code to the header which puts text in the top header. This was under the code echo avia_logo(AVIA_BASE_URL.’images/layout/logo.png’, false, ‘strong’). but this all seems to be missing from the new header file. What file is this part of the code in now? I cant find it to add my code to to bring back my tst to the header?
Many Thanks

Many Thanks
