Mobile Layout – Design Question

Hi,
this might be a stupid question. However I give it a try.

I design my page in two columns.
Picture left – text right
In the following column I change to:
Text left – pc right
So far so good. BUT on mobile the layout will be: pic – text – text pic – and so on.

Question: How can I change this for mobile for a better reading experience.
I want to keep the pic first – followed by text. Pic – text – pic – text – …

Hope this makes sense

PS. on my web page I worked around this problem. However, don’t like it and would love to achieve better.
