Aloha,
I’m having some trouble with my website. I updated my homepage video with a new video and updated the mobile fallback image as well. Unfortunately, the update caused an unexpected and undesired result. My url is http://www.islandencoreentertainment.com
Previously, the video on the homepage would automatically play at full width on full screen on desktop, and no preview image appeared. However, now the mobile fallback image is flashing on the screen before the video starts. It looks bad and I really don’t want this to occur! Can you please suggest a solution for this error?
I tried using my video hosted on my website in media gallery
And I also tried hosting my video on youtube but neither result was satisfactory.
I tried adjusting the settings in performance for self hosted videos and also was unsuccessful. The theme is up to date. My plugins and WP version are all up to date.
Thank you so much!

Thank you for the inquiry.
Try to add this css code to temporarily hide the fallback image until the background video plays.
.av-video-paused .avia-slide-wrap { background: none; }
Please toggle or temporarily disable the Enfold > Performance > File Compression settings after adding the css.
Best regards,

Please try using the preloader to allow the video to be available before the page is shown.
Enfold Theme Options > Page PreloadingBest regards,
MikeJuly 9, 2022 at 10:46 pm #1357832Hi Mike,
I just tried that and it’s not working either. I cleared the cache and it’s not removing the fallback preview image from appearing before the video.
I need additional help to solve this. My client is waiting for the solution so it would be great if we could solve this sooner than later. She really doesn’t like how the website homepage looks currently.
Feel free to login and find the correct solution using the admin logins provided in the first thread.
Thanks for your help!
July 9, 2022 at 11:15 pm #1357835Hi,
Thanks for the feedback and the login, I duplicated your slider and on one I set the Element Visibility to only show on desktop:
and I removed the fallback image, on the other slider I set the Element Visibility to not show on desktop and left the fallback image so it will show on mobile devices.
Please clear your browser cache and check.Best regards,
