Hey guys!
I have created a website and found a bug somehow.
I use Color-Sctions with background-images and parallax.Mostly i like to position the backgroundimage “middle-middle”, “middle-left” or “middle-right”.
This works fine on desktop (almost all browsers). And if i use chromes developer mode to set mobile screensize to e.g. iPhone 5, the position is correct, too.But if i view the page on a phone (iphone 5 safari or other mobile phones with andoid) the image position is not working correct.
Left, right, middle in hoizontal way is working. But the position in vertical top, middle, bottom has no effect. No matter what image ratio i use.Is this a known issue?
Do you provide any help here?I am very looking forward to your replys
Best wishes

May 18, 2017 at 6:14 pm #796072Hey Arne,
Here is the code you can put in Enfold > General Styling > Quick Css, if it does not work, put into themes/enfold/css/custom.css
@media only screen and (max-width: 767px) { .avia-section.av-minimum-height .container .content { vertical-align: bottom; } }
If you need further assistance please let us know.
Best regards,

May 24, 2017 at 2:51 pm #798918Hi Arne,
Please try adding following code to Quick CSS
@media only screen and (max-width: 480px) { .home #av_section_1 .av-parallax-inner { background-position: 100% 0%!important; }}
If that too does not work, please post temporary admin logins here privately so we can look into it
Best regards,
YigitP.S.: You are currently using older version of the theme. Please update it to the latest version 4.0.7 – kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/updating-your-theme-files/. You can check out change log here – http://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/enfold-changelog/
January 30, 2018 at 8:59 pm #905120Sorry to bring this issue back! I experience the exact same thing in the latest version of enfold. – Vertical positioning of the background is not working on any mobile device. The images in all color sections are always in the middle, is there a fix for that?
Changing the position through css for every color section seems inefficient..
Is this something you already attempt to fix?February 1, 2018 at 7:14 am #905999Hi archivarbookscanning,
Could you post a link to the site in question so that we can take a closer look please?
Best regards,
RikardJuly 18, 2018 at 3:17 pm #987028Hi, this problem seems to be unsolved. I have the same problem!!!
in short:
– problem only on mobile
– mobile simulation on desktop is fine
– please compare those two!
Thanks!July 20, 2018 at 10:28 am #987758… sorry but for me its kind of urgent…. Can you please tell if there is a solution? And please if there is no solution: tell me as well!
Thanks a lot!July 20, 2018 at 10:29 am #987759This reply has been marked as private.July 20, 2018 at 1:09 pm #987796Hi SvHa,
The images in sections are just normal backgrounds on my iPhone, parallax does not work in Safari, so the images have to be set to scroll. There is no other fix at the moment.
Best regards,
VictoriaJuly 20, 2018 at 1:57 pm #987828Hi Victoria,
thank you, but i know that on smartphone parallax is not working. But the vertical alignment should work as set in the enfold-backend! As you can see at the first picture on the page (the summit of the mountain) – the sumit is not visible, even though the alignment is set to “middle-top”. That is the problem: not that parallax is not working, the alignement does not work!
Okay and any further idea?
Thanks a lot!July 20, 2018 at 2:42 pm #987861Hi,
I believe in your case LayerSlider would function better – https://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/advanced-layerslider/ :)

YigitOctober 14, 2018 at 5:57 pm #1021250I think I found a fix for the color section background image positioning problem on mobile. Put this into your quick css:
@media only screen and (max-width: 767px){ {.av-parallax {top:-50px; } }There is a bottom:0; rule in there that makes the images position on the bottom when on mobile. The top rule seems to fix it, but you’ll need to play with the number of pixels. I’m using images that are taller than the container.
