    I’m trying to display social icons in the top-right of the header but I’m having issues. For some reason I can see the spots where they SHOULD be but they are not showing up.

    PHP is 7.3, my theme is update to date, all plugins are up to date.
    I tried replacing the social-media-helper.php file but that doesn’t seem to be the culprit. My next step was to try and replace the entire parent theme folder but don’t want to break the site.

    I have 2 questions:

    1. Does anyone have any ideas of where I should look first?
    2. How do I replace the parent theme folder SAFELY without breaking the site.

    Yes I did figure it out. Thanks! It was my own stupid mistake. I guess the code I replaced worked but I didn’t notice because they were being hidden by some custom css we had in there.
