When we create posts with the advanced layout editor, then the featured image won’t show up.
What can we do?

Hey!
If you want the posts to display as regular posts then you’ll need to use the default editor. The advanced layout editor is for users who want complete control over how their post displays.

I’m sorry but it’s not possible. You need to modify the template-builder.php file if you want to show the featured image and post meta infos. Unfortunately, we can’t help you with that. Please hire a freelance developer or contact codeable: http://kriesi.at/contact/customization

It is actually possible but it’s not available or possible yet with the current advance layout builder option for posts. Featured images of the posts will still be visible on category or archive pages. If you want to show excerpts on archive or category pages, use the excerpt meta box.

It would be best to use the default editor. It has a “shortcode wand icon” that you can use to insert the shortcodes so it’s pretty much the same thing.
Other than that you can create a feature request here, https://kriesi.at/support/enfold-feature-requests/, and if it gets enough interest we may see some more options get added in a future update.
