April 23, 2015 at 3:19 pm #433517Hi There, When we create posts with the advanced layout editor, then the featured image won’t show up. What can we do? Thanks, T. April 23, 2015 at 3:33 pm #433529Categories are missing as well… April 24, 2015 at 6:01 pm #434298Hey! If you want the posts to display as regular posts then you’ll need to use the default editor. The advanced layout editor is for users who want complete control over how their post displays. Best regards,

I want complete control, but also the featured image and categories shown up, wich disappear, when using the advanced layout editor!April 25, 2015 at 6:10 am #434588Hey! I’m sorry but it’s not possible. You need to modify the template-builder.php file if you want to show the featured image and post meta infos. Unfortunately, we can’t help you with that. Please hire a freelance developer or contact codeable: http://kriesi.at/contact/customization Cheers!
IsmaelApril 27, 2015 at 8:24 am #435082That is strange, What you are saying is, that a post with featured image and categories in combination with the advanced layout editor isn’t possible?
 Isn’t it a bug?Thhanks,
T.April 28, 2015 at 7:27 am #435818Hey! It is actually possible but it’s not available or possible yet with the current advance layout builder option for posts. Featured images of the posts will still be visible on category or archive pages. If you want to show excerpts on archive or category pages, use the excerpt meta box. Best regards,
IsmaelApril 28, 2015 at 7:38 am #435822The archive is not the problem, but the single page.
Will this bug be fixed?April 28, 2015 at 9:00 pm #436368Hey! It would be best to use the default editor. It has a “shortcode wand icon” that you can use to insert the shortcodes so it’s pretty much the same thing. Other than that you can create a feature request here, https://kriesi.at/support/enfold-feature-requests/, and if it gets enough interest we may see some more options get added in a future update. Cheers!
