Hi Guys!
First of all, thank you to the developers of Enfold. I started with the x theme to build my website and it was just awful! Enfold is elegant, easy to use and just what I was looking for!
I’m wondering if theres some kind of code I can use to make a couple of adjustments to the way the header behaves, however.
First up, i’m using the transparent shrinking header with two different sized logos. I’ve noticed that when the header is shrunk, it allows the logo to overhang the header but when large and transparent, the header cuts part of the logo off if its not big enough. As im using a large white logo for the transparent element, the header needs to be set quite big. This means that the submenus appear quite far below the main menu. Is there a way to allow the logo to overhang when the logo is transparent?
Second question. There does not appear to be a way to make the logo appear at the left side of the screen in mobile view, it’s always in the centre. Can this be fixed with code? – EDIT – I’ve managed to fix this bit with some code I found in these forums. Thanks.
I will link to the site I am currently working on in the private part.
Thanks,

BasilisAugust 8, 2016 at 4:00 pm #669878Hi…..yes sorry, that was just the test domain I was building it on. It’s now on the official domain if you would care to look. I am now also having problems with google maps, even after following the solution and inserting the api key :(
August 10, 2016 at 12:14 pm #670806Hi,
Have you referred to this post – http://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/how-to-register-a-google-maps-api-key/?
Also, Please try to increase the allocated memory to 256M: http://codex.wordpress.org/Editing_wp-config.php#Increasing_memory_allocated_to_PHP

YigitAugust 10, 2016 at 12:53 pm #670817Yes I did all of that. The map still doesn’t work.
Any word on the header?
August 12, 2016 at 5:38 pm #671941I’m just gonna politely bump this……..
Still no response to my question
Google maps does not work after having followed every solution on here!
August 13, 2016 at 5:15 am #672173Hi,
Did you create an API Key as described in the documentation? We can still see the “NoApiKeys” warning in the console:
js?v=3.24&ver=1:32 Google Maps API error: MissingKeyMapError https://developers.google.com/maps/documentation/javascript/error-messages#missing-key-map-error_.bb @ js?v=3.24&ver=1:32 util.js:221 Google Maps API warning: NoApiKeys https://developers.google.com/maps/documentation/javascript/error-messages#no-api-keys
Best regards,
IsmaelAugust 13, 2016 at 12:00 pm #672242Yes, there is a key placed in the enfold Google services options.
Perhaps this is explaining the trouble so many users are having. Maybe enfold isn’t taking the key into considerationAre you working on a fix for this?
Also…….any response to my original question??
August 16, 2016 at 2:50 pm #673288Hi,
please use different tickets for different questions.
Can you provide us admin access, so we can check the issue with your Google Maps? post login details here as private reply.
Best regards,
AndyAugust 16, 2016 at 3:36 pm #673313This topic was supposed to be about the header! That was two weeks ago and I still haven’t received support.
I’ve given up on the enfold map. There is clearly an issue that’s being brushed aside. I have instead embedded a map direct from google.
August 16, 2016 at 3:40 pm #673315I am actually in the process of auditioning other themes. On the surface, enfold seemed great at first but there are problems now. The support has not been great in my experience and the theme itself is actually really slow. I did some test on a blank WordPress install and the enfold theme made it more than 2x slower on testing…… looks great though

AndyAugust 18, 2016 at 2:47 pm #674197This topic isn’t even about maps! As I said, i’ve fixed the maps issue by not using the enfold map widget and instead, embedding a map direct from google.
All I want is help with the header but that was two weeks ago and I have had to launch the website as it is, two weeks is a long time to wait for support!!
Please just close this thread if you can’t help with the original question.
As far as maps go, i’m sure you’ll find out what caused it and fix it in an update but for now, i’m fine.
Thanks,
PaulAugust 18, 2016 at 11:06 pm #674398Hi,
as I said it would be best to use different tickets for different questions/issues, cause then you would get faster replies.
As far as I understand you want to achieve this:
strong.logo { top: 40px; } .logo img { max-height: 180px; } .logo, .logo a { max-height: 180px !important; }
I hope this helps. Otherwise a mockup showing the results would help (use imgur.com or dropbox).
Best regards,
