    Hey,

I recently launched a Google PageSpeed Insights analys, and the analys returned following problems to resolve for faster loading speed.

    Minify:
    content/themes/enfold/css/shortcodes.css
    content/themes/enfold/css/grid.css
    content/themes/enfold/css/base.css
    content/themes/enfold/css/print.css

    and some other files.

Is there any minifed/compressed version of theese CSS-files that i can choose to use instead?

    With best regards

    Hey fristil!

We recommend using the BWP minify plugin for minifying your JS/CSS.

Also a caching plugin would help also if your not already using one.

    Hey,
Shouldn’t these files be minifed by default, that is pretty much a standard for using CSS/JS in production.
What is the meaning of not minify them? Easier for others to edit?

    Best regards

    Hi!

Yes, exactly. It should be up to the administrator if they want to minify stuff or not. Be careful when minifying the JS, sometimes it can cause javascript errors because some files depend on each other.

    Cheers!
