    Hello,

I’m not sure if this is the correct forum to ask my question, but I would like to know if it is possible to merge regular (post) categories with Tribe Event categories for masonry entries. In the current situation, these are shown separately: I can only make a selection between one or the other, because they are displayed in a different field. But the idea is that posts and events are mixed together on the homepage of the site.
It is possible to do that if I use tags, but I also want the posts/events to expire from the homepage on a certain date and I want to do this by using the Post Expirator plugin. This plugin gives you the option to change the category of the post/event, so that they are moved from the homepage to the archive (and do not disappear completely). Unfortunately, this doesn’t work with tags so I have to use categories to make that selection.
    Hence my initial question.
    Thank you in advance!

    Kind regards,
    Jef

    Hi jvingerhoets!

Thank you very much for conacting us and using Enfold.
We are sorry, but there is no easy way to do that.
It would require a lot of customizations to achive it and it is not part of our Support Policy.

Feel free to hire a freelancer, who will be able to help you with that task.

    Thanks a lot

    Best regards,

    Hello,

Thank you for your quick answer.
I thought it would be a bit easier to merge these two categories (regular and events), but I guess I was wrong.

    Kind regards,
    Jef
