    Hi guys

    I am wondering if there is a simple way to upload image buttons to be featured in the navigation instead of just text. I could create the navigation buttons as png files and then upload them, but am not sure how to do it. I am using the Enfold theme.

    Alternatively if you can recommend a plugin that could do it and would work with Enfold I’d appreciate it.

    Hi Ivana!

    Thank you for using the theme.

    You can add HTML tags right before the navigation label. Go to Appearance > Menus then edit a menu item. Add an img tag on the navigation label, something like this:

    <img src="IMG URI HERE">MENU ITEM LABEL

    You can also use icon shortcodes.

    Thanks for your quick response Ismael. But I am afraid I don’t understand. When I go to edit the menu and click on the individual Menu item, eg. Photo Gallery, the only thing that I can see is

    Navigation Label
    Title Attribute
    Link Target
    CSS Classes (optional)
    Link Relationship (XFN)
    Description
    [ ] Use as Mega Menu
    Original: Photo Gallery
    Remove | Cancel

    In regards to icon shortcodes … I am not sure what they are, how they work or where I can find out more about them.
