Hi Guys,
First of all, amazing job on Enfold, I’ve only been using a couple of days but already I am finding it such a nice theme to use.
I do have one problem which I’m unsure on how to proceed.
Originally, I had been using the Sidebar with navigation however when I used Colour Sections it was pushing the sidebar beneath it. As far as I’m aware you can’t use Colour Sections with the sidebar as it takes the full width of the page. Ideally, what I would want is the sidebar to display the navigation then to end and allow use of Colour Sections. Essentially, the sidebar would be a fixed height and not the full length of the page. To workaround this I created a Custom Menu and added it to a widget. However, this menu is not styled as I would like it.
Is there a shortcode for the default Enfold navigation it adds to the sidebar, so that I may use it in a 1/4 column for example?
If not, is there a way of customising the CSS of the Custom Menu I’ve created?
Custom Menu
Sidebar Navigation (what I want it to look like)
Thanks so much!

There is the “Widget Area” element which lets you display a sidebar. You can add the custom menu widget to a custom sidebar and then use that with the Widget Area element.
Cheers!

Thanks for the quick response.
I currently am using the widget area with the custom menu. However, what I would like to know is how do I customise the CSS of the Custom Menu to make it look like the default sidebar navigation that enfold uses?
Thanks!
David

Show category list with roll-out subcategories and sub-subcategories on click. Can I do this? And how?
I’m using the custom menu in the Shop Overview Page widget. Or else the product category widget.May 25, 2017 at 8:43 pm #799779Hi spitsdesign,
Could you please start a separate thread to avoid confusion.
Best regards,
