Hi there,
Issue #1
I have created several sites using Enfold and they all have the same standard Menu display which has a small bar that sits under the name of the page that you are on. However, in a site I am working on at the moment it’s not displaying and as it’s white font over a darker image it’s very hard for users to know where they are when navigating. I’d love to be able to display a red highlight bar if possible and to make the font colour of the highlighted page more distinguishable. Is this possible?Issue #2
We have had problems with the submenu overlapping the top menu once you scroll down the page and the header shrinks up. To counter this we made the header bigger but now it’s a massive header that is sitting below the logo and the submenu displays way below the page name. It’s causing all sorts of user navigation issues and I’m wondering what we can do??I have included a link the site below.

Could you please provide us with a temporary admin login so that we can take a closer look? You can post the details in the Private Content section of your reply.

RikardOctober 22, 2015 at 10:07 am #522806Hi there,
I will post the login details below, thank you.
Basically I want to be able to have the default header showing:
– borders, active menu indication, and preferably no transparency
But when I select that, because of the way the submenus are positioning when you scroll down it’s a complete mess! Which is why we’ve ended up with the massive header (which we don’t want) and no active menu indication.
I have screen grabs of what this looks like – can I attach here somehow? Thanks for your help, much appreciated!

HPOctober 23, 2015 at 5:30 am #523446Hi,
Please set the header to about half of what you have selected now, then set the color section to 100% of the window height. If you should still have overlapping we can help you out with custom CSS.

No, it makes no difference. I’ve tried everything already. There’s a glitch in this header. You guys have already had to install custom CSS to stop the overlapping on mobile view. It’s not happening with any other site and they are all built from the same base installation.

Any update on how to fix this issue? I am going into a workshop tomorrow with 20 key stakeholders to review the site before we go fully live and I’d like to have resolved this by then.
Thanks for all your help!
HPOctober 26, 2015 at 3:31 pm #524941Hi,
I think it’s easier if you add padding to the button instead, so set the header to a lower value, maybe half of what you have now and use this to control the button:
.home .avia-builder-el-3 { padding-top: 200px !important; }
Thanks,
RikardOctober 27, 2015 at 1:00 am #525255Hi Rikard,
thanks again for you help, but I’m not sure what you are referring to regarding the button?
Is there anyway I can send you a screen grab of the actual problem? It’s about the way the active menu indicator and the submenus overlap when you scroll down. that’s the problem we are trying to fix. I’ve had to create the huge header to counter this problem until it’s resolved.
If you go into the site and change the header setting slim or large and then select “default, active menu, slightly transparent” you will see the issue once you scroll down and try to bring up the submenu.
I am thinking I should try to rebuild the menu but you guys have already installed custom code to counter an overlapping issue we had on mobile so I’m nervous to impact that!
I’m really stuck and my developer has bailed on me so any help with this is most appreciated. Happy to pay an Enfold expert to help if needs be.
Cheers
HayleyOctober 27, 2015 at 12:52 pm #525462Hi,
Oh, I think I’ve misunderstood you, sorry about that. You can upload screenshot to a service like imgur.com or similar and then link to them here. What custom code were you given? I’m suspecting that is might be the cause of your problems so you might want to try to remove it and check if it helps.
