March 27, 2014 at 8:28 am #243691Hi area97!
Please try to re-upload all theme and wordpress files again. I recommend to use ftp to install all files and to overwrite all existing files on the server. It seems like something causes a js error on the menu editor page and I guess it’s a corrupt wordpress or theme file. Also make sure that the latest theme (and wordpress version) is installed and try to deactivate all plugins – maybe a plugin triggers a js conflict on the menu editor page.
Best regards,

thanks for your reply.I reuploaded both wp and enfold with ftp, using latest versions.
I put the site under maintenance and deactivated all plugins
Then with enfold as active theme I tried modify menu order, no way to change menu items position.
Enabled wp default theme, tried change menu order and it worked.Problem still in place.
March 29, 2014 at 7:22 am #244684Hey!
Is the theme version the 2.6.2? It sounds like there might be something corrupted in the menus data for the theme specifically. Its a rough guess but to do a quick test of it you can install the Enfold child theme and see if you are able to use the menus manager with that: http://bit.ly/enfold-child from http://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/using-a-child-theme/

DevinMarch 29, 2014 at 1:13 pm #244754Hi Devin,
thanks for your help.
however installing the child theme does not change anything,
menu items are still locked and no way to move them.
I need to activate another template, then menu items are movable again.problem not solved.

Thank you for the login credentials.
I tested the menu on my end and they are working fine. The menu items are movable and I was able to modify the menu hierarchy etc. This might be an issue with your browser. Please try to remove browser or test it on another browser. I created a test menu here: http://incisivo.it/wp-admin/nav-menus.php?action=edit&menu=1635
Cheers!

you’re right, menu management works fine.
I think the problem was caused by layerslider however.
thanks guys.
superb support, as usual!April 1, 2014 at 3:46 pm #246092Hey!
As always, thank you for using the theme!
@neokenig: I can the issue on your end. Do you mind if I deactivate the events calendar plugin? I’m guessing that the plugin is causing the jquery error. Please disable both plugins then get back to us, we’ll be happy to assist you afterwards.
@area97: Thank you for the kind words. If you have any questions, let us know. :)Cheers!
IsmaelApril 1, 2014 at 3:55 pm #246102Tried disabling all plugins, but still the same issue (on both FF & Chrome!)
taApril 3, 2014 at 8:09 am #246913Hey!
Something – maybe a plugin or custom code – loads an old jquery version from the google api
<script type='text/javascript' src='//ajax.googleapis.com/ajax/libs/jquery/1.8.3/jquery.min.js?ver=1.8.3'></script>
Make sure that the default jquery script (which is bundled with wordpress 3.8.1) is loaded and remove the reference to the 1.8.3 version. Maybe you must deactivated all plugins to find the culprit.
Best regards,
PeterApril 3, 2014 at 11:42 am #246971Found the issue – the new version of WPLayerslider has an option to load jQuery from Google CDN, for some reason this was selected.
April 3, 2014 at 11:58 am #246974my layerslider settings about that paragraph are the following, and yes, menu feature works smooth. thanks.
OFF
OFF
