Menu Header Text Not Displaying

The text in the menu header for navigation is not showing up properly. It seems to have an overlay, transparency or something going on. I have tried to modify the settings in the General Styling but nothing is working. Here is the screen shot of what the header looks like. Under Quick CSS I was given the below code from you to set the header size. Not sure if that has anything to do with it. I have tried removing that CSS to see if it makes a difference but it does not.
