Hi, purchased theme and looking for the same treatment that this site did on their registration page for the Register and Member Login Header (in black and white) with the moving downwards arrow.

Can this be found in the default demo content we downloaded? or can you point me in the right direction or was this something more custom?

There is no demo content like that, it looks like they have used 1/2 elements for the section with the flamingo background. The forms look to be coming from a plugin, difficult to say which one unfortunately.
You can achieve the animated arrow down by using the Color Section element.
