Hello,
I’ve been working on a few sites and have just found a few large issues with windows only browers, chrome, safari and EI
1. The menu was all squished to the right with very large spacing in-between.
as seen here
I added the CSS I found on the support document here…my problem was the same
https://kriesi.at/support/topic/windows-problem/
It sort of fixed things then I noticed the sidebar has been pushed down to the end of the page.
HERE
Is there a way to fix this, around it or it means using another theme. Yikes too much work.
Thank you in advance,
Violet
PS I love the theme
Hi Violet!
Can you create a temporary admin account for me so I can log in and take a look. The windows issue on the other thread was because their menus manager is messed up from something and was setting each item as a mega menu which is what causes that big spacing.
No css fix should be needed.
Regards,
Devin
Hello, I tried to login and access the login page.
No problem as far as I can see. No error showing.
I am sure it should work now.
Thank you,
Violet
Hi!
Can you try switching to one of the default WordPress themes and then go to your WordPress menus manager. See if the menu items can expand to show the menu text and options for each item.
When I logged in the issue was the same as the other topic in that the menu items couldn’t be expanded and so each sub menu item was marked as a mega menu item. I don’t know what the common link is but it looks like the WordPress install has an error in it which would be unrelated to the theme. Checking to see if its the same on another theme will verify it.
Cheers!
Devin
