Hiya,
I have read the other threads regarding this issue but as of yet, have not found an answer that helps with the issue.
Is there a way of creating a separate menu for screens below a certain size so the we can add a menu that does not include a mega menu and at the same time let us keep a mega menu on desktop?
The option to show all sub menu items just looks very confusing on a mobile so using it in this way just isn’t an option with a larger “mega menu”.
Please advise if there is a way around this issue.
Thanks!

July 26, 2017 at 8:36 pm #830330I posted this 2 days ago, any news????
This is a new theme to me and my website needs to be back online very soon,
Please let me know asap how to deal with this.
July 26, 2017 at 10:45 pm #830374I’ve just removed the mega menu option from the only heading I had it activated on and it still will not work. I now have no mega menus but only 1 of the 6 drop down menus actually work when viewing on iPhone or iPad in any aspect!
You have me website details from my previous post. Please can you look into this. Thanks.
July 27, 2017 at 3:07 pm #830682Replacing “#” with “##” worked for me
July 27, 2017 at 3:10 pm #830684Thanks Lucky, will give it a go!!
July 27, 2017 at 3:13 pm #830685That worked!! Guess we’re both lucky now!! Thanks :-)
July 28, 2017 at 6:23 am #830902Hi,
Please note that empty mega menu columns or columns without sub menu items are NOT going to be included in the mobile menu. The columns have to contain sub menu items.
Best regards,
IsmaelJuly 31, 2017 at 11:12 am #832054That’s fine, they always had sub items. It appears now that without using a mega menu, the normal menu will only work on mobile with ## inserted in the URL attribute. Is this always to be the case as it not particular nice on desktop being still a selectable link.
Regardless, when i open a normal drop down menu on my mobile (not mega) it shows the top title in the drop down list as well as on the main menu. To explain better, if i have a drop down item that is called “wedding” the first item show on the mobile dropdown list is also “wedding”. Why is this there? Its not in my list and does not need to be duplicated even though its not a selectable item?
It seems there are massive issues with this theme and the menu’s. Having just purchased it and having to wait for 4 days for support that i pay for whilst trying to make my site live is pretty rubbish!!! You have my login detials so please look at the menu issue and advise asap how to deal with it.
Thanks
August 1, 2017 at 10:55 pm #833114Come on guys, I bought your theme and want go get it fixed so I can actually use it. You’ve given me 1 pretty useless response in 7 days, the support from a budget theme is better than im receiving from you. Very very poor service.
Can someone please look at this issue and reply to me!!!
August 2, 2017 at 8:25 am #833254Hi,
I’m very sorry for the late response. Regarding your original inquiry, this is possible but you’ll have to use a plugin.
// https://wordpress.org/plugins/menu-items-visibility-control/
If you want to hide the mega menu on mobile, use the !wp_is_mobile conditional function in the menu item’s Visibility field.
// https://codex.wordpress.org/Function_Reference/wp_is_mobile
Please note that this conditional function will only work on actual mobile device.

IsmaelAugust 3, 2017 at 2:28 pm #833900Hi, Thanks for getting back to me.
I get all that and have removed the mega menu completely from my site now regardless.
The issue i mentioned above was the main heading on my mobile menu duplicates the top main heading in the top of the dropdown box. If you log into my site on mobile and select wedding you will see that the first item in the dropdown list is “wedding” and should not be there as this is the main heading and is not selectable it me and not intended to be in the drop down.
If i use the method you suggested above, the complete menu heading of “wedding” will be hidden on my menu. Please log in via the detials provided to see what i mean.
The duplicated heading item does not occur in the normal header menu only the mobile version.

August 4, 2017 at 4:13 am #834135Hi,
Thank you for the info.
I’m not sure what’s going on with your current menu so I created a dummy one which is working as expected. Is this an old menu or a menu from a previous theme? Please delete the current menu then re-create it from scratch.

IsmaelAugust 4, 2017 at 11:21 am #834285HI,
I really appreciate you looking at this, but the menu issue is still a problem. I have now created a new menu as you suggested (even though the menu i was using was created in Enfold a couple of days ago and not imported) and the issue is still there.
Can i also add, when you looked at the menu in my dashboard and created your test menu that you must have saved therefore deleting my original menu that i was using as was live on my site. I had a call today to tell me that the menu on my site made no sense. That’s not what i want 1 day after launching a new site.
The site is live so if you view the menu on mobile you will see the issue is still there. As far as i’m aware, everything is configured correctly so i am at a loss as to why the menu should appear like this.

I’m so sorry about that. I immediately switched to the actual menu after testing the dummy menu. I’ll look into this further.

IsmaelAugust 8, 2017 at 2:24 pm #835850My menu has now completely broken!!!!!
So far with your theme, it looks great, but the menus have been absolutely horrific!
Now my menu works fine on desktop, but none of the drop-down’s work on mobile……..AND IVE CHANGED NOTHING!!!!!!
Is your theme just useless??? please tell me why there are so many issues with your theme??? And this is not just me, your support threads are full of people complain about menu issues!!!
Why has (on its own) my menu just broken on mobile??
And that is not rhetorical, what is going on and will i ever be able to trust this theme to work without having to check it is actually still working every day????
August 8, 2017 at 2:27 pm #835854So it appears the “##” has disappeared out of all of the custom links, ON ITS OWN!!!!
Why has this happened? And again, can we all trust this theme to actually work?
August 9, 2017 at 9:13 am #836238Hi,
We are very sorry for the inconvenience that this issue caused you and we would like to apologize for the delay. We normally respond within 24 hours but in the wake of the latest theme update, we have received more inquiries than usual. Please be patient while we go through the rest of the queue. Thank you for your understanding.
Anyway, the mobile menu items are working when I checked the page. Is this fixed?

IsmaelAugust 9, 2017 at 11:51 am #836312Hi,
Look, apologies for ranting, but an important client called me to tell me that my sate wasn’t working as that’s really bad for my business so i was a little upset.
So the menu still has the issue of copying the header title in the top of the drop down menu on mobile. I deleted all of the menus and started from scratch but the problem.
Regards,
Mark
August 10, 2017 at 8:50 am #836815Hi,
So the menu still has the issue of copying the header title in the top of the drop down menu on mobile.
The “Main Menu” > “Burger/Mobile Menu” > “Clone title menu items to submenu” option is enabled that’s why the parent level menu item is included or copied in the dropdown. Please disable it to remove the cloned parent menu item. Please note that parent menu items are not going to be clickable or accessible in the mobile menu because they have to toggle the sub menu items that’s why we included that option.
Best regards,
IsmaelJune 20, 2018 at 10:43 am #975192to influence mobile devices behavior – yes the functions.php with conditional !wp_is_mobile is one thing that works
but enfold adds on all mobile devices a class to html – so you can also use on quick css that class: avia_mobile
