Hi,
did you delete all theme files completely via FTP, before installing a fresh copy from your themeforest account?
Best regards,
AndyAugust 16, 2016 at 3:31 pm #673310Hi Andy,
Just completed the upload via FTP just now.
With all plugins still deactivated and after clearing all cache, the display issues remain.

That’s correct except that when you hover over the sub-menu items, the next level expands and the others disappear.
I would like all levels to be expanded all of the time, no hovering over to see the next levels. Thanks
LyseAugust 18, 2016 at 11:16 pm #674402Hi,
try this code:
#avia-menu .sub-menu { height: 125px !important; }
and adjust if needed.
Best regards,
AndyAugust 19, 2016 at 12:17 pm #674707Hi Andy,
The code sorted of helped but did not fix the issue. Here are screenshots of what happens:
the left screenshot: the last sub-menu item (half round wires) its sub-menu items are expanded – this is exactly what I want.
the middle and right screenshots: the other sub-menu items do not display their sub-items….https://www.dropbox.com/s/xevcr0yulje86sx/wire%20mega%20menu.jpg?dl=0
Seems were are getting closer….
Thanks
LyseAugust 19, 2016 at 1:06 pm #674743Hi,
then “Half Round Wires” needs to be add as a column inside your menu. If this still does not work then remove your current “Wire” menu and rebuild it.
Best regards,
AndyAugust 19, 2016 at 1:28 pm #674753Hi Andy,
The “Half Round Wires” are more sub-items of my “Sterling Silver Wires” and I don’t want them starting a new column. I just want them all expanded and showing up when the mega menu opens….
Thanks
LyseAugust 19, 2016 at 1:39 pm #674761Hi,
I don’t think it would work this way. Maybe there is a plugin out there with such a function (Uber Menu Plugin for example), but if you want it to use the default way, then you need to use it as a column.

AndyAugust 22, 2016 at 5:21 pm #675899Hi Andy,
I upgraded my plugins and my version of WP to 4.6. Now my mega menu items do not display like they used to. More specifically, the “Other Findings” for example where the sub-categories “Charms” and “Necklaces”, their extensive list doe snot get displayed. All plugins a currently deactivated, and the problem exists.
Thanks

AndyAugust 24, 2016 at 11:03 pm #677263Hi Andy,
My issue #2 was not addressed: the “Customization 7 Trading” main menu option, when I hover over the link, the mega menu gets chopped on the right. How can I get this mega menu to be more to the left.
Thanks

August 29, 2016 at 1:10 pm #678851Hi,
I already showed you what I mean with htaccess, here again: http://imgur.com/a/e4MWi
It has nothing to do with FTP/sFTP.

AndyAugust 29, 2016 at 1:23 pm #678855Hi Andy,
I just finished chatting with WP Engine support any they refer htaccess as trying to access SFTP. They could not replicate issue with the login. I cannot replicate the issue with loging in. You also have successfully logged in previously. I’m not sure what else to do. This website is running live under Shopify, so need to maintain access control so it does not get found.
I have included below the content of the .htaccess file if that’s any help.
Thank you
LyseAugust 29, 2016 at 1:25 pm #678858Andy,

August 29, 2016 at 2:57 pm #678941Hi,
I tried again and it doesn’t work for me. I also tried to login via FTP using Filezilla, but it doesn’t work for me neither. I guess something is blocking me from logging in. Ask your host if Germany is blocked or if anyone with a specific IP is blocked.
Best regards,
AndyAugust 29, 2016 at 4:57 pm #679036Hi Andy,
I talked with WP Engine support team and they only way they could perhaps be able to help would be to check your IP address to see if it’s being blocked. Is it possible for you to send it to me so I can have them ensure your not being blocked?
Thanks
LyseAugust 30, 2016 at 1:11 pm #679389Hi,
here you go.

AndyAugust 30, 2016 at 2:24 pm #679439Hi Andy,
WP Engine support reports that the IP address isn’t in the server’s blacklist, so the IP isn’t being blocked.
They also said: “There is no way to “connect” via the .htaccess since there isn’t a protocol there.”
They also claim that the credentials provided should work. They asked if you get any error message and if yes, what is it?
I asked them to add your IP to the safelist so you can work on my issue.
Final note they shared: “To be clear, I am not seeing them ever being blocked by the server, so I recommend reaching out to them to make sure that they can get past the basic authorization that you have set up.”
