    Hi Genius’s
    I am trying to get a mega menu with a link but I want a little undertext description. See https://minonlineforretning.dk/… hover over “Services” to see. I can’t seem to make it happen no matter how many things I try. I can of course get an icon and title which is linked but not a little subtext… Is it possible?

    Hey Annemarie,

    Please go to Appearance > Menus > Screen Options in the top right corner and check the field “Description” :)

    Then you will see that field in the menu items and you will be able to add text there.

    Hi Victoria, I already have the description boxes. If I add the text and tick the description box then nothing is linked. If I untick the description box then the description text disappears off the menu frontend and then I just get the title linked. If you go online and look at the difference. The first menu item “Hjemmeside” with description is how I want it but nothing is linked. The next item is Webshop & Ecommerce which is set up the same but I have unticked the description box… the item is now linked but no description text.

    Hi AnnemarieDoolin,

    The description field just shows the text, it’s not a link. I think this checkbox is added by some plugin and so you might want to check that in the plugins docs.

    Thanks Victoria, I decided to drop the description text so I could complete the menu but thanks for the tip. I knew it had to be something interfering and with the next site (that’s not being build live), if it happens I know to disable plugins.
