I need a mega menu within the content of the Enfold Page.
So I created a “test” megamenu from an Unordered list and CSS and it works — when screen is full size.
However, it gets chopped off when the screen is mobile-sized.
Problem: I don’t know how to “tie in” to Enfold’s responsive ability.
Is there some div I can put above it (???) to duplicate Enfold’s “hamburger” symbol linking to the mobile-version of the “test” megamenu?
I tried to see from the source for Enfold’s top navigation (superb) and also for the the “hamburger” version of Enfold’s fullwidth sub menu widget.
But I’m either missing some step…or there’s javascript that’s involved. Can you give me an idea of where I should look?
Thanks!

Can you post the link to your website please?

JosueSeptember 22, 2015 at 10:36 pm #507402Thank you, Josue. I am on localhost, so it’ll take a few more hours to get that page up and working. Am plugging away at it.
I’ll be back!

Okay, I tried to isolate out the (NOT ENFOLD’s) mega menu that I put in the content of the page. (I put normal Enfold items below it just so there was content on the page.
Would prefer to use normal Enfold mega menu, but that doesn’t appear possible.
So this is an Unordered List and CSS to test out the concept of actually using a Mega Menu WITHIN content of page.
The temporary test page is:
http://trackitanywhere.com/menu-mega-dropdown-menu/It would be wonderful if I could make it mobile/responsive….and I’d prefer to use the already-existing Enfold mechanism, if possible, so I don’t reinvent the wheel…
What do you think should be my first step?
Or is there a better way?
NOTE: There is already an ENFOLD megamenu as the main navigation on this test page.
Thanks for taking a gander at it!
September 23, 2015 at 11:44 pm #508110I see what you want to do here, although there’s an element to create an Enfold menu within a Page (Content Elements > Full Width Submenu), it doesn’t support mega menus at the moment.
I think using a specialized plugin like UberMenu could do the trick.

Do you think that would be one ENFOLD megamenu and one UBERmenu megamenu?
Whatcha think?
September 24, 2015 at 4:56 am #508147Hi!
Yes, you can have both simultaneously, here’s a screenshot of a local test i just did – http://screencast.com/t/e7HHimtDB
UberMenu allows you to insert Menus using a shortcode, like:
[ubermenu config_id="main"]
Cheers!
JosueSeptember 24, 2015 at 4:35 pm #508595Cool. I’ll give it a shot.
I had read “You can still use only one UberMenu per page. You can still make as many UberMenus as you want as long as they exist on different pages. So, you could have a variety of UberMenus appearing on a variety of pages … but you still can’t have 2 UberMenus on 1 page – there isn’t any plugin that will change that.”
So…guess with the Enfold TOP Mega Menu, it WOULD only be ONE UberMenu MegaMenu.
I shall try it out.
Thanks very much for your insight…and for taking the time for your “one picture is worth a thousand words” example!
