Hi there,
I greatly value the support and recommendations that Kriesi & staff have provided to me, and I need your opinion on another item. I have designed a huge website for a physicians group and am having trouble with the submenu dropdown as it renders poorly in a chrome browser. I’m using ubermenu and have contacted them for support and none of their suggestions worked. The site is supposed to go live next week so I’d really like to figure this out. What mega menu would you recommend for when hovering over the word “Specialties”. I know this is not exactly tech support but I’m really in a bind right now.
Thank you!
March 30, 2016 at 7:04 pm #605377Hi 40eleven!
Thanks for getting in touch with us!
I am not seeing the difference in the mega menu on Chrome browser than another browser. Could you please elaborate on the issues you are having and provide screenshots using imgur or a public Dropbox. However, the Enfold theme comes with the capability to set up mega menus already http://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/setting-up-your-mega-menu/
Cheers!
JordanMarch 30, 2016 at 7:25 pm #605393Hi Jordan,
Thanks for the quick reply! The rendering issue occurs when scrolling within the submenu of “Specialties” See screenshots at the below Dropbox link.
Also, I don’t even know where to begin to edit the css for the Enfold Mega Menu to make it look full screen or similar to what is posted. If you can help with that, I’d be grateful. I have watched all the enfold megamenu videos, but there is not enough detail provided to create and format the huge submenu I need.
Thanks!

RebekahApril 1, 2016 at 6:49 am #606498Hey!
The site is on maintenance mode so we can’t see the issue. Please provide a temporary login details so that we can check it. In the screenshot, there are blue borders. Was that intended? Could you please describe the actual issue?
Have you tried the theme’s mega menu option?
Best regards,
IsmaelApril 1, 2016 at 5:58 pm #606804Hello,
Maintenance Mode has been turned off. I’m not sure what part of my description of the problem isn’t making sense but here’s a step by step to help show replicate the issue… I’m using an iMac with Chrome Browser…
1) Launch Chrome browser and visit the web address referenced below.
2) Use mouse pointer to hover over the word “Specialties” in the main menu.
3) Upon hovering, a submenu will appear with several links requiring that the user needs to scroll to view them all.
4) When scrolling within the submenu, the links do not appear immediately or render only when moving the mouse around.
5) If you scroll down then scroll back up the links disappear or render poorly again at the top of the list of links within the submenu. So all of the weird rendering happens when scrolling up and down within the submenu of the parent menu item, “Specialties” The screenshots show what this looks like. I don’t know how to explain it any more clearly. I just need a mega menu solution for this huge menu. If I use Enfold’s menu, I would need help with detailed formatting and style direction – more than what is provided in the brief how-to mega menu videos available from Enfold. Thank you very much for any solution you can provide.
April 4, 2016 at 5:26 am #607346Hey!
Inspecting the site, I’m pretty sure we won’t be able to provide a solution unless we see it first. And thank you so much for the detailed instructions! It helped a lot! However, there seems to be a lot of issues with the current menu other than the one presented here. Have you checked the mobile menu version? It doesn’t look good. Unfortunately, we don’t provide full support for third party plugins as stated on our support policy. Please contact the plugin author for additional help if you’re in a hurry.
You can try this in the Quick CSS field to fix the “hover” issue:
.ubermenu-main.ubermenu-transition-slide .ubermenu-active > .ubermenu-submenu.ubermenu-submenu-type-mega, .ubermenu-main:not(.ubermenu-transition-slide) .ubermenu-submenu.ubermenu-submenu-type-mega, .ubermenu .ubermenu-force > .ubermenu-submenu { max-height: 1300px; }
Best regards,
Ismael -
