Hi Guys,
I’m having a issue with mega menu failing when I add new pages to my website. I have a suspicion that there might be a limit associated with the amount of buttons in the menu and causing it to fail when listed.
Dummy site. Mega menu failed. Just add 3 buttons to the menu and it does this. Also does this when I had one page.
http://www.animationink.com.au/major/test/live site and Mega Menu layout.
http://major.com.au/I’m currently on Enfold version 2.5.4, Are you able to have a look for me?

October 8, 2014 at 3:16 pm #332449Hi Animationink!
You are currently using an old version of Enfold which is not compatible with WordPress 4.0. Please update Enfold to the latest version 3.0.1 via FTP – http://vimeo.com/67209750
You may need to re-configure some elements/options like header – http://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/portfolio-item/intro-to-the-header-configurator/Cheers!
YigitOctober 20, 2014 at 7:45 am #338153Hi Yigit,
I have updated WordPress 4.0 and Enfold to the latest version 3.0.1. I’m still having the exact same issue as described above. I have only added 3 extra pages to the menu and the it totally collapses. Refer to http://animationink.com.au/major/ to the live site. http://www.major.com.au
As you can see there is something wrong with the menu. Are you able to have a look at it for me?
Cheers
Carl

You forgot to check “Enfold main menu” under Menu Settings in Apperance > Settings – http://i.imgur.com/xzDG1zd.png
I checked it for you and it does work fine now. Please review your websiteCheers!
YigitOctober 20, 2014 at 10:57 pm #338724Hi Yigit,
Enfold Main menu was clicked before making the changes. So I don’t understand why it would change when adding the pages.
The menu is also now missing half of it’s content compared to http://major.com.au/
Cheers

October 21, 2014 at 1:00 am #338789Just following on from this. I have tried rebuilding the menu and saving the menu out. There are still a couple of issues.
1. The Menu Settings, Theme Locations selection is turned off when Mega Menu is turn off and on.
2. “Use as Mega Menu” is randomly turned on the last tier of the menu and I believe causing the same issue above.
3. Updating the menu with new columns/child’s of the menu and then saving, does either of the two listed issues above. All new inputs to the menu are lost. Very frustrating. Is there a way of manually pulling the menu over from the original site?
October 21, 2014 at 5:31 am #338825Hi Guys,
I have updated to the latest update. 3.0.2 and still getting the same issue. I try adding 3 pages to the menu and save the menu out. Nothing saves and it defaults back to what was saved before.
October 23, 2014 at 2:40 am #339900Is it possible to get a hand with this? I can’t add or edit the menu at the moment and I need it working.
October 23, 2014 at 4:53 pm #340198Hi!
Please also try to increase the allocated memory to 128M: http://codex.wordpress.org/Editing_wp-config.php#Increasing_memory_allocated_to_PHP
You can contact your service provider and they can do it for you.Cheers!
YigitOctober 24, 2014 at 2:32 am #340398Hi Yigit,
I have changed the php allocated memory to 512mb on the server side and changed my wp-settings.php to 256m. See below
// Set initial default constants including WP_MEMORY_LIMIT, WP_MAX_MEMORY_LIMIT, WP_DEBUG, WP_CONTENT_DIR and WP_CACHE.
wp_initial_constants();
define( ‘WP_MAX_MEMORY_LIMIT’, ‘256M’ );I’m still getting the same result as before.
October 24, 2014 at 7:04 pm #340757Hi Guys!
I have the same problem. Can’t save any menu. Working meanwhile with wp 4.0 and enfold 3.0.2 on a live-server. WP_MAX_MEMORY_LIMIT’, ’128M’ like shown above. I have chosen the header with social media and large logo, including 6 Buttons. Tried also a test-menu with only 2 buttons – but i can’t save it…
Cheers!
hermelinaOctober 27, 2014 at 6:11 pm #341645Hey!
Can you please try de-activating all active plugins and check if that helps?
Regards,
YigitOctober 27, 2014 at 7:27 pm #341703Hey Yigit,

@AnimationInk: Please ask your host to increase the max_input_vars values to at least 3000. It is currently set to 1000. This should fix the menu limit issue. Refer to this thread for more info: https://wordpress.org/support/topic/menu-size-limitBest regards,
IsmaelOctober 31, 2014 at 7:37 am #343894Hi Ismael,
