    Hi

    I have a site in development: http://silviafindings.wpengine.com/ (hosted on WPengine) (hosted on WPengine) for which you will need credentials to view it and which I have added to the private area below.

    I’m not quite satisfied with the mega menu as it is now and was wondering if you have any suggestions on how to improve it. For instance, the size of the mega is large only because of one main menu item which contains lots of sub-menu categories. That would be “Other Findings”. Can it be reduced more in terms of padding between columns and rows? Also, can the other mega menu, such as Beading Findings, Bails, Setting Findings be smaller within themselves (more responsive according the their content)?

    Any suggestions would be appreciate with using mega menus on this site.

    Hi,

    Please select the parent menu as mega menu then you get the option column should start in a new row.

    Hi Joshue,

    I switched to manage my menu in the live preview, then back to the regular way, now I can create the column as you suggested. When I do create the column, I have other display issue. I can select the top menu item, but not the others.

    Hi Vinay,

    I got it to work.

    1) But on the “Other Findings” category, I’m challenged with the fact that the “Charms” and “Clasps” categories have a lot of sub-categories within them. It seems to list only 5 of these.

    Also the second row on that mega menu does not show all of the content and I can’t scroll down further.

    Any thoughts on how to get this one to work and display better?

    2) On the “Customization & Trading” category, the mega menu gets chopped on the right-hand side.

    Hi,

    1.) Could you please provide a screenshot of the issue? I can only see 5 items under those categories.

    2.) Make sure that the last 3 items are under the “Customization & Trading”. They are creating another column. Or post the login details here so that we can check the Appearance > Menus panel.

    Hi Ismael,

    I have recreated all of my mega menu as if I’m always using six columns. This way, I maintain consistency when they display and the chopping disappeared as a result of this change. I may choose to add images to fill the empty columns in the future.
