    Since updating to the latest version of Enfold (4.2.6), I’m experiencing an HTTP error when trying to upload media or images. Please advise. WP login credentials included in Private Content. Many thanks in advance for any help.

    Hey jqdirector,

    Please try verifying that you have enough (64MB+) server memory allocated to Apache/PHP in your server configuration settings. You can also add this to your wp-config.php file: define(‘WP_MEMORY_LIMIT’, ’64MB’);

    If the above solution does not work, read this article https://hookagency.com/25-image-media-uploader-problems-wordpress for further trouble shooting.

    Thank you Jordan. Unfortunately I’m not very educated in the backend stuff, so I’m a bit lost.

    1) How do I verify that I have enough (64MB+) server memory allocated to Apache/PHP in my server configuration settings – Is that a question for the host company (GoDaddy.com)?

    2) How do I <add this to your wp-config.php file: define(‘WP_MEMORY_LIMIT’, ’64MB’)>?

    I deleted a ton of images and portfolio pages in case it was a storage problem, but I still get the same message. My test image is only 300×300 px.

    The article didn’t help me. Sorry.

    Best,
    James

    Hi,

    Yes, if you are unfamiliar with how to navigate through the WordPress files, GoDaddy should be able to walk you through, and even troubleshoot to see if there may not be a server issue.
