Enfold website will not upload images to the Media tab. Changing the theme to a default WP theme corrected the issue and an image successfully uploaded. After changing the theme back to Enfold, the upload error returned. Please advise on how to resolve this issue.

Have you checked with your hosting company and increased the php memory? Most of the time is is the reason why you get error sometimes while uploading the media.
Best regards,
Jordan ShannonSeptember 4, 2018 at 8:44 pm #1005767The server hasn’t changed in years. The file size I’m testing with is less than 1MB.
September 5, 2018 at 2:24 am #1005837Hey!
I successfully uploaded a smaller image (460KB) but it failed on a larger image (1.56MB). This is the error on the console.
async-upload.php:1 Failed to load resource: the server responded with a status of 500 (Internal Server Error)
Please try to increase the memory limit to at least 256M.
Cheers!
IsmaelSeptember 7, 2018 at 12:30 am #1006848The host servers are already set to memory limit of 256M, and that cannot be changed. Where do you see indication that the memory limit is lower?
