    Hello,

I recently (yesterday) updated to latest WP and latest Enfold. Server using latest php as well.

As the title says, all of the sliders are not working – showing blank/white space. I disabled all of the plugins – didn’t solve the problem.

Client who’s website this is wants video embedded on the front page (please see private content).

I managed to somehow hack my way around video in the Grid Row element on the frontpage… but this is not a permanent solution.

    Thanks in advance

    Hey Nikola,

Thanks for the login details. You are getting jQuery error on the page you linked to, but I’m not sure what is causing them. Would it be ok if we temporarily deactivate plugins for testing purposes?

    Best regards,
    Rikard

    Hi Rikard,

Feel free to do whatever is necessary.

    Thanks!

    Hi,

Thanks for that. Deactivating plugins didn’t change anything. I’m seeing this error message:

Uncaught Error: Syntax error, unrecognized expression: #page=6

Coming from the file in private. The file in question is not a theme file, so I’m guessing that it’s coming from your caching plugin. Why that file is creating the a jQuery problem I can’t say unfortunately, but it might be due to a menu item containing this: #page=6. I checked your menu items, but couldn’t find anything like that. Maybe you know where it’s coming from?

    Best regards,
    Rikard

    Hi,

Thanks for the update. I’m still seeing jQuery error messages, but they are not as specific as before. Could you try to remove all the URLs in the menu with #page=number to see if that changes anything please?

    Best regards,
    Rikard

    Hi Rikard,

I duplicated the Menu – deleted all of the URLs with #page=number, and this solved the problem!

Do you have any idea why this would cause the problem initially?

    Hi,

Great, I’m glad to hear that it’s working again. I’m not sure exactly why special characters like = characters are creating jQuery errors unfortunately, but they do for some reason. Are you ok with only using “regular” links in your menu?

    Best regards,
    Rikard
