The theme doesn’t contain a Matomo tracking script out of the box. Someone might have added the script in the child theme folder or in the functions.php file. Please provide the site info in the private field so that we can check the issue further.

Thanks for that. How can you see that Matomo is tracking your site? I can’t find any tracking codes except for Google Analytics on your site.

We don’t see any Matomo script on the site, and we also don’t see any cookies generated by the tracker. Have you tried checking the site on a different browser? We recommend removing your browsing history, including cookies, from your current browser and then trying again.

As mentioned earlier, we have thoroughly checked the theme files and we did not find any scripts related to Matomo. It is likely that the code is generated by a plugin or custom script. We suggest checking the installed plugins or custom scripts and disabling them one by one to narrow down the cause of the issue. If the issue persists, you may need to hire a freelance developer with expertise in Matomo or analytics tracking to further investigate and resolve the issue.
