Hi I purchased a website from http://www.freelancer.co.uk they installed it now I want to update it but they did not supply me with a api key. I asked them about this and they said they have a developer licence so can produce as many as they like they don’t need a api key.. is there such a thing as a developer licence ?? as I want to support enfold as I love the theme but don’t want to be using any copyrighted material or theme if they are lying to me

We sell our themes through ThemeForest/Envato only and currently they do not have such license. There are only Regular and Extended licenses ( you can read more about them here – https://themeforest.net/licenses/standard ) and agencies usually purchase regular licenses for each of their clients.
If you have paid for the theme, please contact them and ask for the license. In the license you can find purchase code and register to our support forum – https://kriesi.at/support/register/ and start new threads under Enfold sub forum whenever you have a question or an issue. Also, please ask them for username and API key to insert in Enfold theme options to receive auto updates. Otherwise, you will not receive updates.
