Hello,
I’m trying to restrict the masonry gallery to display 3 posts stacked in 1/4 width column with the image taking up the width of the column .
The mobile view works almost perfectly.
Hi,
The site requires a username and password. Would you be able to provide that in the private section?
Best regards,
Jordan Shannon
It’s open now. Sorry about that!
The full requirement, is to have a black, semi-transparent (0.7), title and excerpt panel, white copy over half the image from the left that disappears to the left on hover.
Hi,
So you are looking to have the large image take up the full width. Can you provide an example of what you need?
Best regards,
Jordan Shannon
Did you have any further advice, Jordan?
Hi,
That is not possible with mansory exactly, as the way that the grid is generated is different.
The blog grid can easier make that, as you can control the grid with a pseudo-selector.
I would suggest to hire a freelancer to help you create a new shortcide, wit that grid through a child theme, it would work easier out for you.
Best regards,
Basilis
Hi Basilis,
I found a way to achieve it. You set the the masonry grid to “Perfect manual masonry”, tag all the images you want to use in the column as “portrait, landscape” and set the “Screen options” for “Column count for medium sized screen” to “1”.

Hi,
Apologies for the delay in my response, but I see you added a solution. Did you need further help or shall I close this thread?
Best regards,
Jordan Shannon
Fixed. This can be closed. I realised I didn’t reply
