    Hi,

I have been using masonry for some time and now it seems that the categories to show in the masonry is not working anymore. I mean, the first post are from the categories I am using but after that, it is showed pages from other categories or even from other language.

In a “project” masonry there are “news” pages showing and in English there are pages from Spanish, which makes no sense. I attach one page where you can see it, if you click “load more” there are pages in Spanish and other categories that make no sense.

    Thank you!

    Hey Xiscoj,
Thanks for your patience, are you using the same categories for both languages? The element will show all items for the chosen categories and doesn’t have an option to sort or filter by language, so you should use separate categories for the different languages. If an item has multiple categories and one of those categories is picked to show in the element then it will show, otherwise you can remove the category from the unwanted item.

    Best regards,
    Mike

    Hi Mike,

No, I am not using the same categories for both languages.

I could not solve the issue completely, I do not know the reason why. I copy one page where in the “load more” it is showing entries from the other language with different category, which is not selected. This is happening here but not in others pages, I have no idea why.

    Hi,
Thanks but this login didn’t work, try following these steps:

    1. Install and activate the “Temporary Login Without Password” plugin. You can find it here.
    2. Once activated, navigate to “Users > Temporary Logins” in the left-side menu.
    3. Click on “Create New” to generate a temporary login.
    4. Enter the email address for the account (you can use (Email address hidden if logged out) ) and select the highest possible role. Set the expiry date to around four days to ensure enough time for debugging.
    5. Click “Submit” to create the temporary account.
    6. In the private section, provide us with the URL that allows us to access the temporary login and assist you.
    7. Please note that we will not receive an email, so post the URL that allows us access

Please note that once your issue is resolved, you can remove the plugin. Alternatively, if you prefer not to use the plugin, you can manually create an admin user and share the login credentials in the “private data” field.

    Best regards,
    Mike

    Hi,
Thank you, in your first post you wrote that in your “projects” masonry element there are “news” posts showing, so I checked the element and you do not have the category “news” selected in “EN” but you only have one post in the “news” category and it is in “draft” mode so it doesn’t show in the element when I click “load more”.
You also wrote that there were posts in “ES” shown in this element, but I opened all 17 posts shown in the “projets” masonry element after I clicked “load more” and didn’t find any in “ES”. Please explain how I can reproduce the issue.
Perhaps a screenshot would help me identify what you are seeing, Thank you for your patience.

    Best regards,
    Mike

    Hi Mike,

I am sorry because now I can not reproduce the issue. I do not know how but now everything is showing as it should.

Maybe I fixed it and kept seeing it through cache version or something like that. :/

Sorry very much for wasting your time, not my intention at all.

    Best,
    Francisco
