I am having an issue with the masonry product load (WooCommerce). If I click on a product category, it only loads 1 or 2 and not them all.

Can I adjust hov many will display when clicking on the “load more” button?

    Hi Synergi!

It will load the same amount that you have set to display each page which is currently 40. So it should load 40 more when you click the load more button assuming there is enough products left. Changing it would take a lot of time and code so it would have to be considered custom work. It would be best to hire a freelancer to help you out with that customization.

    Cheers!

Hmm, that is weird. Could you take a look?

    Hi!

It’s working fine for me. What is the problem? I click on Panser Glas and then the load more button and more products are loaded.

When you click on each sort link it’s going to filter the products assigned to those categories in the current set.

That seems weird. When I click on the category, it takes 4-5 seconds to load 1 or 2 additional and there are 5 in the category.

Is it only when I am logged in, or perhaps the caching?

It still seems to load, but nothing happens.

    Hey!

Yes it may load none, or 1 or 2, etc etc, that’s because when you click the load more button it’s going to load the next 40 posts, some of which may be assigned to “Panser Glans” and some of them may not be. It’s just the next 40 posts of all the categories you are using.

It sounds like your wanting that when “Panser Glans” is the current sort and load more is clicked you want it to load only posts in that category but it’s not going to work that way. In this case you will be better off creating a separate page for each category.

    Cheers!

Oh I see. So basically, it means that the content of 1 product category, could be visible on page 1,2 and 4 and that would require several clicks on the more button.

As far as I can tell, it means that I either need to show all products or switch the basic WooCommerce shop. Any ideas on improving the load time on the category view? I am using a cache plugin and lazyload for images.

    Hi!

The best ways to optimize a WordPress site is to use a caching plugin. A plugin for minifying the JS / CSS such as BWP Minify would help a lot also.

I recommend this tool, https://developers.google.com/speed/pagespeed/insights/, for checking your site speed. It gives you suggestions on what you actually need to do.

    Best regards,

All right, I am already using minifying and caching, so hopefully I can get some results fra PageSpeed. Thank you.
