    Hello Everbody,

    I’ve been trying to create a Masonry Portfolio gallery on my enfold theme based wordpress site, but I haven’t been able to get it right.
    Just to be clear: this is what i want to do: http://kriesi.at/themedemo/?theme=enfold-overview ( see preview of portfolio and then first one masonry portfolio)

    At the moment I have made portfolio items, where ech item contains 6 images. I’ve dragged and dropped a portfolio grid and the portfolio items are now in the portfolio grid. (http://www.artworkstudio.be/index.php/projecten/). I do not like the look and feel of this page and prefer to have a Masonry grid, but with the effect that i have right now ( when you click on the image a new pop up is shown with text and other images).

    If I create Masonry by using the media elements, I only have the masonry look and feel, but the portfolio items are gone, it is just a beautiful lay-out and when you click on the image, it enlarges. Can someone pleae tell me how to combine the too? Masonry look and portfolio items displayed?

    Hey artworkstudiobe!

    When you edit the portfolio grid shortcode you can set it to be sortable so it behaves like a Masonry. You can also use the Masonry shortcode and have it display portfolio entries instead of regular categories.

    If your trying to get the portfolio AJAX feature with the Masonry then that would take a lot of time and code and would have to be considered custom work. It would be best to hire a freelancer out to help you with that customization.

    Hello Elliott,

    Thank you for the fast reply. It think indeed i want to combine the two, but since it is featured in the Enfold theme, i wonder why it isn’t a setting that we can adjust since it is already as an example of usage on the Enfold demo viewer. Makes me think there is something else we might be missing out without the code adjustification. Or am I wrong? I bought the theme also because i loved the masonry, but for both SEO as client based reasons, it is not always wise to use the masonry as you cannot place content conected to it.

    If not, do you know which code from the masonry i have to copy to the porfolio grid code so it behaves like a masonry?

    Hi!

    It would take a lot of time and code and would have to be considered custom work so you will need to hire a freelancer to help you out with this customization.

    I’m not sure what demo page your referring to. I believe the only area we display the portfolio ajax is here, http://kriesi.at/themes/enfold/portfolio/portfolio-ajax/.
