    hi guys, is it possible to add a script so that the masonry element’s images open up to a lightbox image instead of taking you straight to the post? I am using a child theme, so figure there’s something we can add to functions.php. Thank you so much everyone and hope you’re staying safe!

    Hi there,

    I changed the element to a different one on this site so there’s nothing to reference on the page anymore. Is there a general snippet i can add to functions.php to have it so the masonry opens in a lightbox for future reference? Thank you!

    Hi,

    Thank you for the update.

    Have you tried using Masonry Gallery instead of the Masonry element? The images should open in a lightbox instead of going directly to the post.
