    Hi,
Can anyone help me figure out what image sizes I need to set, and what masonry settings I need to set to get an effect where all images are square but some images are larger than others on the grid. I’m happy to have all images the same size and then Enfold force the images bigger in places. Or I’m happy to manually set some images larger and some smaller to force this sort of thing to create. I’ve tried to add dummy images (480x 480px) and some (960×960),with the thought in my mind would create a 4 column grid withthe first two columns using 460px square images and the last two columns taken up with one 960px square image spanning it… However whatever I try all the images come out as square each time, equally all the same size! I am adding the images via the featured image section on the portfolio item so I’m wondering if this is the problem? Basically what I am trying to achieve is to display an overview of my portfolio items but in a more interesting way than showing them all the same size square. I hope that makes sense!
    Thank you in advance.

    HI Nikko,

Thanks so much for your fast response.

Unfortunately it’s a local host site. But I can tell you that I set up the gallery using portfolio items and that the images of each portfolio post are 480px x 480px and some are 960px x 960px. Can you let me know if this is correct and I should be either making all the images different sizes (like 480, 960) or if they should all be the same size (480px) and that the gallery chooses how to size them?

The masonry gallery is a full width masonry gallery which chooses one category of portfolio entries.
    Post number: 9
    Columns: 4
    Order By: Title
    Descending Order
‘Perfect Manual Masonry: Manually control the height and width of entries by adding either a “landscape” or “portrait” tag when creating the entry. Elements with no such tag use a fixed default size, elements with both tags will display extra large’
    No Gap
    Slightly fade in effect
    Animation Activated
I haven’t changed anything on the other tabs.

    Many thanks,
    Hannah

    Hi Hannah,

We apologize for the delay in response.
I think you can have 4 different image sizes.
We can classify them as following (using 4 columns):
    (1) 480 x 480px, with no tag – span a single column and 1 row
    (2) 960 x 540px, landscape tag – span 2 columns and 1 row
    (3) 480 x 854px, portrait tag – span 1 colum and 2 rows (vertical)
    (4) 960 x 960px, landscape and portrait tag (2 tags added) – span 2 columns and 2 rows.

Looking at the link you gave.
    It can be done using 6 (1) then 1 (4) then another 6 (1) then 1 (4) then 9 (1) and so on.
I would suggest using Order By date then in Ascending order, so the layout won’t be messed up when new entries/posts are added.
    I hope this is helpful.

    Best regards,
    Nikko

    Hi Nikko,

I tried the settings, which sort of worked, but the 960x960px, whilst it took up two columns width, it did not double in height. Is there a way I can email you a screen shot so you can tell me if I am doing something wrong?

    Thanks,
    Hannah

    2. Go to ” Users > Temporary Logins ” on the left-side menu.
    3. Click ” Create New “.
    4. Add the email address for the account ( you can use (Email address hidden if logged out) ), as well as the ” Role ” making that the highest possible and the expiry about four days
