Hi
I would love to include pages to be seen in the masonry grid (because it looks awesome). As I read here in the forum this is not possible – users should rather create portfolio entries instead of pages to get to the goal.
However I would love to keep the URL structure as with pages (e. g. /photography/wedding-photography/wedding-reportage/) for better navigation of the users and also work with the very helpful Parent and sub-site feature for a better overview.
How can I solve that?
Thank you
August 22, 2018 at 2:57 pm #1000374Hey Funkys,
Well, you can change permalinks if you need, either in settings or then later with the help of some plugin that allows you to make custom permalinks.

And since the feature request is out of order for 3 months already :-P I guess the way to go is to spam the forum and the commentsection at themforeset

Thank you for your input. I’m not sure if this will be in the nearest future our devs are busy working on making the theme compatible with Enfold.

November 2, 2019 at 11:34 am #1153229Hi Victoria,
What do you mean with permalinks? I do see in each page there is a permalink setting option on the righthand side. But I haven’t yet figured out what permalink is in general and maybe therefore I don’t know how permalink works with Masony Grid.
Can you please clarify? I have tried to search for info but it is not that understandable for me.
I too would love to let a masony grid show some of my pages…. but how?November 6, 2019 at 4:36 pm #1154323Hi sanjamarinkson,
Permalinks are not the issue here. The issue is that you need to add a category to the page with the help of a plugin or create pages as portfolio items.

VictoriaJuly 11, 2020 at 6:20 am #1229564I am also looking for a way to pull pages into a masonry grid,
I think what we would like is to see rather than having to hack anything is for enfold devs to add Pages as on of the content sources provided in the content elements along with the other taxonomies. Pages do have the option to add a featured image so I see no reason to leave them out as a content
source or is there another reason that pages are left out of them?July 11, 2020 at 6:19 pm #1229679Hi gameznet,
By design, pages are the entities that are used to showcase content and not to be showcased in the masonry or some grid. That is why they do not have categories or tags. It is not the theme design, it’s a common pattern. That is why the masonry is not built to show pages in it.
Best regards,
