On home page we have a masonry grid that uses category home that is attached to some of the pages in order to pull them into the grid. For some reason it is also including an acf field group? See schools box – 2nd box. Why is this happening??

Sorry for the late reply and thank for the login, I see that your Post categories are using the same slugs as your Page categories, this can led to unexpected results. If you click on the category “home” count in Pages it shows the 3 pages
but if you do the same for Post categories it leads to no posts found.Best regards,
MikeThanks Mike, I used a function to add categories to pages in order to get the pages we wanted in the masonry grid – not sure how I would differentiate the posts categories from the pages categories. Still does not make sense that it would grab an ACF field?
Oops – I actually used a plugin for this so apparently I need to explore a different option. Still does not explain the ACF problem.

I looking at above conversation it appears that the earlier developer used a function to add categories to this page that is a masonry grid. The template is called page-us-based.php
Can you help me find a way to edit this page in WordPress? Is it short code?
