A customer has reported that their newly developed website does not display their portfolio items on their iPad when initially viewed in landscape. They just get white rectangles with no image or text. If they rotate the iPad to portrait the images and text appear.
I have tested this on both iPad Air and iPad series 1 and replicated the issue. I’ve tried varying the settings on the Masonry Grid but nothing resolves the issue. I have been unable to get the issue to exhibit on my MacBook Pro or other devices.
Can you please take a look.January 19, 2015 at 5:45 pm #381941Hello Nick,
Have you tried disabling all third-party plugins to see if it gets fixed?

January 20, 2015 at 8:29 pm #382629Hey!
Did it get fixed? i couldn’t reproduce the issue on my end – http://screencast.com/t/ylgFEpbdrYj6

JosueJanuary 23, 2015 at 8:27 pm #384615No. I have tested it on my own iPad 1, a brand new iPad Air and the customers iPad Series 2 and all have the same problem. The steps to reproduce are to visit the Success Stories page in landscape mode then navigate to another page and back to the Success Stories.

January 28, 2015 at 10:38 am #386860Hi!
Looks like you’re not using the latest version of the theme. Please download 3.0.7 then update the theme via FTP. I checked the site on an iPod and the masonry section works fine. Please try to install a cache plugin to improve page loading speed.
Best regards,
IsmaelJanuary 28, 2015 at 11:20 pm #387458Hi,
I’ve upgraded to 3.0.8 which is the latest version and the problem remains.
I don’t believe the issue relates to an iPod. The issue I reported relates to all iPads. Caching is performed by CloudFlare (and yes, I’ve tested the site with and without Cloudflare active and the issue occurs regardless.)
Kind regards, Nick
January 30, 2015 at 8:57 am #388144Hey!
It’s not happening on most Enfold sites with the masonry element. Seems to be specific on your installation. Try to deactivate all plugins then test it again. Remove the browser cache then reload the page.

IsmaelJanuary 30, 2015 at 9:37 am #388161Dear Ishmael,
You already asked me to deactivate all my plugins on 19 Jan and I answered you then that this made no difference. Similiarly browser cache has been cleared and tested on lots of friends iPads. Come on, I really need your help to sort this out for my customer. I have purchased Enfold for all my customers and have half a dozen more lined up for the next month. I need your support to help me resolve this issue otherwise I’ll be forced to shop elsewhere for my themes and I don’t want to do that.
Thanks, Nick
February 1, 2015 at 9:01 am #388968Hi!
Alright. My bad. The problem is, we can’t reproduce the issue on our end so there’s no way we can debug the issue. We’ve checked a lot of website with masonry sections on iPad and they’re working fine. After you deactivate the plugins, did you remove the iPad’s browser cache? They tend to serve the cached version of the site so you need to remove it. I’ll ask the rest of the support team to check the page.

I don’t have an iPad to check on but it’s displaying fine with the Nexus 7. Is it doing the same when you view our demo?
