I found a bug in using a masonry gallery with pagination Enfold 4.5.4
If you create a masonry gallery in a portfolio item it basically just doesn’t work. It gives me a 404 error, see URL below.
https://jamb.com.au/portfolio-item/portfolio-images/2/%22%20class=%22post-page-numbers
I can see the problem in the code at the end of the URL. class=%22post-page-numbers. Obviously the URL is a dud,
Obviously it isn’t a post-page-number its a portfolio-page-number (at a rough guess).
It works fine if done inside a blog post. I tested it by saving a template of the page and pasting it into a draft post on my site, top prove it works. How soon do you reckon that could be fixed?
March 1, 2019 at 11:03 pm #1073437I have found the same bug on our site, but our Masonry Galleries are all on posts (not within portfolio items). The issue for us is exactly the same, Enfold is adding the extra code
" class="post-page-numbers
Possibly there is some broken code elsewhere in Enfold that is causing this to be added to the otherwise valid URL.I will open our own ticket for this too. But I wanted to chime in here to hopefully add weight to this issue. We have over 100 member posts, all with Masonry galleries exhibiting this bug.

Thanks for the update, we have investigated the problem and it’s due to WordPress changing the return value for a function we use in the pagination code in version 5.1. We don’t have a solution yet, but if you want to get rid of the problem then you could for instance downgrade to WordPress 5.0.3 if you like.

RikardMarch 4, 2019 at 7:12 am #1074191Thanks Rikard,
I’ll leave it set to “show Load more Button”, until I’m either told there’s an update to either the theme or WordPress, or there just is one and I’m able to test the problem has gone away.
I could suggest as a pointer to what I’ve been able to discern for myself thus far that Mike Hatrich seems to be correct. Testing on Chrome, Firefox and Edge using a PC the extra code %22%20class=%22post-page-numbers, at the end of the URL doesn’t seem to do a lot. Whereas with portfolio items not having it appeared to fix my issue.
Obviously this isn’t the end of the world for any of us, but I would’ve preferred the pagination method to be more optimal for mobile devices.
March 5, 2019 at 7:42 am #1074689Hi mgburke888,
Thanks for the update and sorry for the problem. If you would like to try to fix the problem then please try to replace the function-set-avia-frontend.php file in enfold/framework/php with this one: https://www.dropbox.com/s/b4jsispxh2a5p17/function-set-avia-frontend.php?dl=0. If not then the fix will be included in the next theme update.

That’s gone live already. I’ll tell you if I notice anything unusual, but it looks totally as expected now.

NikkoMarch 6, 2019 at 11:23 pm #1075696Hi, It seems not to work for me. I have replaced the function-set-avia-frontend.php file in enfold/framework/php with the code you said…
The pagination in Shop overview is not there… Is there any plugin which could solve the problem until you make a new updated Theme? Thank you! ZuziMarch 8, 2019 at 1:33 pm #1076354Hi zuziOKO,

yes, but unfortunately it didn’t help, The whole site crashed, just showed lots of numbers in the browser. Couldn’t investigate further as the whole project is life.
Kind regards
