I have tried altering settings and styles of the masonry gallery. I have tried disabling all plugins. I have tried multiple browsers (all on a Windows 7 PC). And I have tried reinstalling the Enfold theme, but my masonry gallery does not load properly. Sometimes if loads just captions, but other times it loads small thumbnails that don’t align properly. Any help? Thank you!

    Hi jpattersonphoto!

It looks very much like you’re having a conflict of some sort or a corrupt file somewhere, are we allowed to disable plugins for testing purposes?

    Hi Rikard,

Thanks for the reply. One thing I found that seemed to cause the problem, is that I had a basic -a href- HTML tag in the caption for each image because I was hoping to link the gallery photos to Woocommerce pages. The Masonry Gallery does not seem to play well with HTML in the title or the caption. Do you know if there is a way to have HTML in the title or caption and have the Masonry Gallery still function?

I did discover that I can move my link from the caption to the “custom link” for each image, but that will take some time and work to transfer those for all of my images as they already have the HTML in the caption (which worked fine on a previous theme I was using).

Or, alternatively, do you know of a way to have product category pages display like a Masonry Gallery?

    Hi!

are we allowed to deactivate your plugins temporarily for testing purposes?
I can see that you have used W3 Total Cache. Please activate it again, go into it’s settings and switch off caching function. Afterwards deactivate this plugin (otherwise it will still cache, although it’s deactivated).

    Cheers!

    Hi Andy,

Yes, you can deactivate plugins to troubleshoot. Did you see my response above about the HTML in the caption being the cause of the problem? I am hoping there is a workaround.

    Hey!

the link from your first post does not work for me and I get redirected to a “nothing found” page. I could not find another masonry gallery on your website. Can you provide us a another link showing your masonry gallery please?

    Best regards,
    Andy

    It’s back up.

As you can see, the only two images that loaded properly ware ones where I removed the HTML from the caption.

    Hey!

What is the html codes that you’re trying to add? The masonry script loop is a bit different from the normal post loop. Adding another html link inside the caption will break it. You need to use the avf_masonry_loop_prepare filter if you want to add an element inside the loop. Something like this: https://kriesi.at/support/topic/post-category-in-the-mesonary-blog/#post-461263

    Ismael,

I have a basic link HTML code so the caption has a link to the product page. In the end, I think it will be easier to use the Masonry element that links to a shop category, then the links to the product pages are automatically there.

    Hi!

I tried to use the filter that I suggested but adding html links inside the excerpt breaks the masonry container so I guess it doesn’t work the way I want it to. Yes, using the masonry element will be much easier in this case.

    Cheers!
