Dear support team
I have an inexplicable problem with viewing a Masonry gallery on the tablet:
On the website I have integrated a Masonry gallery under the following sections:
1.) https://gabriele-redenz.de/home-2/#team-training
2.) https://gabriele-redenz.de/home-2/#profil
It works on the desktop version and on the mobile phone, just not on the tablet:
Looking at the same sections on the tablet, the following views appear:
1.) https://gabriele-redenz.de/support/gallery-1.jpeg
2.) https://gabriele-redenz.de/support/gallery-2.jpeg
The gallery images are not displayed on the tablet and a white area appears.
Why is that? Could you please give me additional help?
best regards, diana
Hey Diana,
Thank you for the inquiry.
We can’t reproduce the issue on our end. Did you add any css modifications for the masonry gallery? Please try to disable the cache and compression plugin, then check the site on incognito mode.
Best regards,
Ismael
I do have this on an older Ipad 3 with IOS 12.5.7
i try to simulate this on desktop Safari by using Developer Tools and an own user-agent-string.
guess that is the only way to inspect what might cause the issue.
Hi,
Thanks for the screenshot and the link to your site, I tested in Safari v16.3 on a Mac v12.6.3 in Responsive Design Mode as I don’t have an iPad, as well as in Windows in Chrome, Firefox, & Edge emulating a tablet device and couldn’t recreate the missing images.
Try checking if there is an update available for your iPad.
Best regards,
Mike
Yes – it is only on older IOS devices
