I’m not sure why my masonry galleries aren’t working like they used to. Like they work in this example: https://kriesi.at/themes/enfold-2017/elements/masonry-gallery/

I read other posts and I DO have the Lightbox Modal Window button on in the theme options. If you click on a photo it opens up full in the window but there are no arrows to page through all the other images in the gallery. There is no close button. I have to use the back button to get back to the main gallery and then open up another image. How do I fix this? Thank you.

    Hi,

Thanks for that. I see that you are overriding header, footer and page.php in your child theme. Could you try activating the parent theme to see if the problem is caused by your child theme please? If that is the case then you might have to copy the files you are overriding from the parent, then add your customisations back into the new files.

I disabled the “Insert Headers and Footers” plugin but that didn’t fix the issue. I also activated the parent theme and that DID fix the issue. But 1) I’m not sure how to fix the child theme, and 2) I don’t understand why this child theme was working in previous versions of Enfold. Thank you.

    Hi,

Thanks for the update. Then you would have to follow what I wrote earlier:

If that is the case then you might have to copy the files you are overriding from the parent, then add your customisations back into the new files.

You can start off with the clean versions from the parent to check if everything is working as it should then. After that you can add your customisations back one by one.

    Best regards,
    Rikard
