    Hello,

Sorry if this has already been discussed – but my search hasn’t found anything helpful thus far. I would like to keep lightbox disabled for my general site, but use it in image galleries. For example, I do now want stand alone images on pages to open in lightbox when clicked, however if I insert an image gallery – I do want those images to open in a lightbox window when clicked. SO – I have lightbox mode disabled, but have created a masonry gallery and enabled lightbox on that gallery. This ‘kind of’ works – when clicked the images open larger, however there is no navigation in this enlarged view. Am I able to accomplish what I want with some edits to CSS/settings? (link to current page is below)

    Thanks!

    Hey StormCreek,

Have you tried the solution proposed here?

Please, try and let us know if it worked for you.

    Hi Victoria!
Thanks for the answer, and sorry for the late response, but I did try that solution – but it’s actually a solution for a different problem. What I’m really trying to figure out, is whether or not I can disable lightbox site wide, but still enable it for my masonry gallery. I don’t want any images to open in lightbox, except those in a gallery. Is that possible?

    Hi,

When you add a single image using our Advanced Layout Builder, you can disable the lightbox function though the link settings tab here: http://prntscr.com/f0hmpq

Well shoot. Going back through 80+ pages to put that setting on each image so I can use lightbox on one gallery does not sound very pleasant…. but that’s totally not your problem. If that’s really the only option, I’ll figure something out. Thanks for the response/help though!

Oh, seems the images were already set to no link, crisis averted :) woohoo!
