Hi guys
I’m having trouble editing the background colour/text colour of the image titles in my masonry gallery.
As default the background is grey and the text is a faint black colour that doesn’t really stand out. I would like to adjust the background colour to be opaque (no colour) with the text being a crisp black that stands out.
Many thanks!
Tom

Could you post a link to the site in question so that we can take a closer look please?
Best regards,

The site isn’t up and running just yet so here is a link to a screen dump:

Thanks!

Ok, thanks for that. Please try the following in Quick CSS under Enfold->General Styling:
.av-inner-masonry-content { background-color:transparent !important; }

Thanks for that. Unfortunately the title of the picture is now positioned inside the photo. I would like the text to be black and positioned underneath the photo with a white background.
Here is how it looks now:

Ok, thanks for the feedback, though what you are describing that you want is the default behaviour? If you could post a screenshot of the results you are looking to achieve it would be easier for us to understand.

I would like the text to be in the same place as in the first picture:

However, I would like the text to be bold and the background to be white (not pale grey as it is in the picture above). The pale grey background makes the text look dull and hard to see.
Cheers
March 8, 2017 at 8:48 am #757597Hi,
Ok, please try this instead:
.av-inner-masonry-content { background-color:white !important; } .av-masonry-entry-title { font-weight:bold !important; }

RikardMarch 17, 2017 at 6:54 am #762355Hi Rickard!
Thank you that worked a treat.
Only issue now is that the font colour is quite pale. I would like a bold shiny black that stands out from the white background.
Is it possible to have content in the lightbox that pops up when one clicks on the photos in the masonry gallery? Our masonry gallery displays products and I would like the lightbox to contain information about each respective product.
Thanks

Obviously I’m bumping my question back down the queue now but that’s ok…
I have solved the issue with the pale text – I was using the “alternative text” field instead of image title and the text in this field is grey. When I switched to the image title the text had exactly the colour was after. Woohoo!!
My question regarding the lightbox still stands – although I have realised that the easiest way may be just to make up a double page product flyer using powerpoint and save it as a jpeg file. Then link to the jpeg file from the masonry gallery. Seems to have worked ok using different jpeg-flyers I have experimented with.
It would be a really useful added feature if the lightbox could be a subpage or some visually attractive media item to display info on the item displayed in the masonry gallery (this may already exist and maybe I’ve just missed it, haha).
Thanks
Tom.
March 19, 2017 at 7:58 am #763109Hi Tom,
Great, glad you got your problems sorted out. So you are alright for now?
Thanks for the feedback regarding the lightbox/modal opening an actual page, I think that could be useful as well. If you want you can submit a feature request for it here: https://kriesi.at/support/enfold-feature-requests/
Best regards,
