Hello!
I have searched every blog post to solve this issue. First I do not have bbpress activated. It is installed but not activated so that should not be a conflict.
I when to layout builder and set the Fullwidth Masonry Blog, selected all categories. Also, I did this:
Enfold Settings: Theme Options = Display blog set to nothing or “Select Page” > General Settings: Blog Style = Grid Layout
Page Settings: Content Element > Fullwidth Masonry > Layout = No sidebarI cannot get this to work. I’ve spent two hours. Any ideas guys?
I have a couple of posts for other issues outstanding. They are a bit urgent.
Thank you for your time, Jas

Masonry will always be full width no matter what layout you selected on the page. Please watch this short video by Devin on how to work masonry elements within the theme: https://vimeo.com/channels/aviathemes/77433498

IsmaelJanuary 30, 2014 at 7:01 am #216814Hi Ismael,
I watched that video before I submitted the ticket. Did I miss something? I researched this fully and I see several people are having this issue. I read all the submitted trouble tickets. I’m fine with full width. It just doesn’t work. Right now I have these settings.
Enfold Settings: Theme Options = Display blog set to nothing or “Select Page”
General Settings: Blog Style = Grid Layout
Page Settings: Content Element > Fullwidth Masonry > Layout = No sidebarIf you notice, the sidebar does not go away even with the above settings. Can you tell me why?
You can check it out now. I’ll post the link in a private message.
Thanks, Jas

Please post the login details here. Set it as a private reply. The Blog and the Blog Style has nothing to do with the Fullwidth Masonry.

The blog works now: EDITED- if you want to use an “advanced layout” blog element you must not select this page as blog page (Enfold > Theme Settings). If the same page is selected as blog page Enfold will load a different, special blog template and then the advanced layout elements (i.e. masonry blog) won’t show up. I selected a different page as blog page now and the masonry grid works.
Cheers!
PeterFebruary 1, 2014 at 11:42 am #218229Thanks Dude, thanks Ismael!
I spent 2 hours trying to figure this out. All the existing posts I found said to just deselect or to set the drop down to the top option “select”. none of them said to select a different page for a blog. I didn’t think of trying that.
I might suggest that we add a bit of text in the layout builder that instructs the user how to do this. I watched the entire video and it said nothing about this.
Thanks guys for pointing me in the right direction, Jas
