Two Problems when updating to 4.1.2:
Problem 1
When I do not have any posts on the blog page, site page links (Welcome, Buy, Sell, Relocate, News, About, Contact) are showing up on the blog page in the masonry element.
However, when I added a blog post, which you can see on the Welcome page and the News page, the site pages disappear from the blog page masonry element and it appears to be normal.
If I delete the only blog post on that page, the site pages come back in the masonry element.
Problem 2
When I select the categories for the blog post (Welcome, News, Uncategorized) those selections are not respected. The blog post shows up everywhere.
Try it yourself, go to the one blog post and deselect the categories (Welcome, News). You will see the blog post shows up everywhere.
I am not sure what version I was at when I updated. Could have been several versions old, perhaps even pre 4.1.
Thank you,
Jas

Thank you for using Enfold. Sorry for the late reply due to summer holidays.
The default behaviour of this element is, that when there are no posts for a selected category than all existing categories are queried.
This behaviour already was prior to 4.0.7.
So make sure there are existing posts when you select a category. Then this element should work like expected.
Best regards,
GünterAugust 14, 2017 at 8:38 pm #838937Hi,
Why would PAGE links show up in this element instead of BLOG POSTS?
Whenntjere are no blog posts in this element, then Main Menu items appear in the Masonry element.
I can’t imagine why anyone would ever want page links to appear in Blog post elements such as the Masonry element. Very odd. This is expected behavior?
If so, why was this behavior changed from its original design?
Thank you,
Jas
August 18, 2017 at 5:54 am #840740Hi,
The pages post type should not display in the masonry element. Could you please provide a test page? I checked the provided pages but they’re not displaying the issue. If you don’t want to display posts from every category when an empty category is selected, please try this solution.
