    i am looking for a way to use the wonderful masonry category tool for a general overview of blog categories.
    Is there a possibility? At the moment there is grid layout …

    No, regretfully, this is not possible yet without major modification on the archive.php file. Unfortunately, this particular request or modification is more than what we can offer as a support team.
