i am having issues with the masonry element on my homepage. if you have a look, the images are there and the element work, but when you click on one of the images it doesn’t take you to the link, it just reloads the home page. if you hover over the image you will see that the link is there, but it just doesn’t open it, when you type the link as well it will take you to the home page instead of the link. do you know why this is happening?
i thought it was something to do with my plugin Wp-Rocket, but it was not, i also checked my SEO plugin and found thats thats fine as well.
i have to change my Permalinks to Numeric for my portfolio to work in my Masonry element. all other settings will just reload my homepage when i click on on them.
Can you have a look?
August 6, 2016 at 5:23 am #669202Hi Jihad,
Could you try resetting your permalinks under Settings–>Permalinks to see if that helps?

IsmaelAugust 11, 2016 at 8:39 am #671197Hello Ismael,
Yes i have an SEO plugin that tells me that the best choice for SEO is the Post name setting under permalink. Other than that i also want to figure out why the other options are not letting me open my portfolio items.

Please post the FTP details here so that we can check some of the files. Or post the content of the .htaccess file on pastebin.com.

August 22, 2016 at 7:24 pm #675980Hi,
I noticed that you are using a caching plugin. Would you mind opening your plugin’s settings page and temporarily deactivate the caching of your site? Then please try to clear your browser cache and hard refresh the site (Hold CTRL + SHIFT + RELOAD) to see if that solves the issue.
Upgrade your WordPress and deactivate all plugins while testing. Let us know when you’re done.
Best regards,
AndyAugust 23, 2016 at 8:41 am #676249Hey Andy,
I tried that. i also tried deactivating all my plugins and trying to use it. that didn’t help at all.
August 23, 2016 at 12:26 pm #676345Hi,
please upgrade your WordPress. Switch off any caching (WP Rocket, etc.) and keep the caching plugin deactivated afterwards (until the issue is resolved for you).
Can you provide us FTP access, please?
Are we allowed to deactivate all your plugins temporarily?
Best regards,

AndySeptember 20, 2016 at 3:30 pm #689333Hey Andy,
yes its working as I’ve set it to the numeric option on the permalinks settings page. but if you just change the settings to post name it stops working. also i realised if you set it to the plain option the whole arabic site disappears for some reason, i click on arabic and i get a 404 error.
September 21, 2016 at 1:05 pm #689757Hi,
simply flush your permalink settings, then try again. Keep all plugins deactivated while testing and make sure to use newest theme version.

September 23, 2016 at 11:03 am #690606Hi,
probably yes, so simply try to flush your permalink settings. For that open your permalink settings and click on “Save Changes”. Then clear browser cache and hard refresh a few times.
Best regards,
Andy -
