Hello, I’ve just noticed that some of the category filters I have on a masonry page are not showing. This is due to the posts being too old (my fault, I need to nag my colleagues to write more blog posts, news etc.. )
Is there a way of perminantly showing all category filters at the top even if there are none on the current page (of 50) I would rather not have to load all of them on the page! There are quite a few :)

not sure if I understand fully what you mean. Which ones are not showing for you? can your provide us admin access please? so we can take deeper look into it. Post login details here as private reply.

The category which doesn’t show until you “load more” is “blog”, see admin login details below
September 26, 2016 at 4:25 pm #691767Hi,
I noticed that you are using a caching plugin. Would you mind opening your plugin’s settings page and temporarily deactivate the caching of your site? Then please try to clear your browser cache and hard refresh the site (Hold CTRL + SHIFT + RELOAD) to see if that solves the issue.
Also deactivate your cloudflare function.

The functionality does make sense really, that you can’t see a category until one of the posts from it is visible on the page, but I would like to override this if possible
September 30, 2016 at 12:15 pm #693627Hi,
Please deactivate all plugins one by one to check which one is causing this issue and let us know if this solves the problem.
In addition to that, please let us know if we are allowed to deactivate one or more of your plugins as well for testing purposes :)Make sure no caching on your server is used at all.
If this does not help there might be some corrupted files, so please delete all theme files completely via FTP, before installing a fresh copy from your themeforest account. Here is a short tutorial on how to install the theme via FTP, in case you are not sure how that works:

Ok, I’ve deactivated all plugins, switched off cloudflare, and manually reinstalled the parent Enfold theme.. nothing’s changed I’m afraid
To be honest, I would presume it was default behaviour.. a filter for a certain category won’t show until posts within that category are loaded. I just need a workaround please as we want people to view posts from several years ago if they want to
Thanks!
October 5, 2016 at 4:11 pm #695571Hi,
that won’t be easily possible. I think it would be best to simply create a new blog post. If you really need this function however, then you can hire a freelance developer for this job: http://kriesi.at/contact/customization

AndyOctober 5, 2016 at 4:19 pm #695579Ok thanks Andy. That’s a real shame as we don’t write blog posts that often compared to all the other categories. I’ll speak to a developer. Thanks, please close
